The Hastings Youth Council has 2 events happening this Saturday, March 13. 2010 which involve Hastings students. One is an art exhibit, curated by 2 high school sophomores and including the artwork of Hastings students from all schools. The other is a clothing swap for teens, organized with a girl scout troop from Farragut middle school.
The Hastings Youth Council is sponsoring a student produced Art Exhibit and a Clothing Swap Fund Raiser on Saturday 3/13 from 11-1, just downstairs from the Farmer's market at the Community Center.
Calling All Teens:
Middle and High School Girls
CLOTHING SWAP FUND RAISER
Entrance Fee: $10 with a bag of clothes to swap, $15 if you come empty handed
Go through your closets and gather all those clothes that are the wrong size...don't look right...that you'll never wear. Take those clothes down and trade them for some clothes that you love.
Proceeds will be used for the Hastings Youth Council Summer Programs. Project Share will donate all left over clothing to Westhab.

Arts at the Center welcomes all to the opening reception of our 2nd exhibit: Winter in Hastings
A beautiful collection of work by Hastings students ages 2-18 will be gracing the walls of the Youth Services floor (lower level). The show was curated by Hastings High School sophomores Victoria Yan and Mary Daly.
Arts at the Center is a partnership between the Hastings Youth Council and the Hastings School District Art Department. High School students work as Curating Interns under the mentorship of Hastings School District Art teachers, soliciting work from Hastings students and producing an Art show.
