Due to the inclement weather, all Hastings-on-Hudson schools today, Friday, March 8th, WILL OPEN ON A 2 HOUR DELAY.
All Out of District buses are not running today. The buses for the Communications classes are not running today as well. The District remains on a 2 hour delay.

Hastings Public Library will open at Noon on Friday March 8

Please take care when traveling during inclement weather and allow for additional travel time.  Customers should use caution when entering and exiting trains, and on platforms and staircases.


Bee-Line buses and Paratransit are experiencing considerable system-wide delays.

Routes 8 & 32 are on the standard snow detour.  No service to Nodine Hill in Yonkers.
Route 16 is not servicing Strawberry Rd., operating on Rt. 6 instead.
Route 60 is on the standard snow detour, remaining on Mamaroneck Ave.
Route 5 Northbound and Route 7 Eastbound are avoiding Elm St., using School St. and Nepperhan Ave.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL
6 PM EST THIS EVENING. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER
IN EFFECT.
* LOCATIONS...SOUTHERN FAIRFIELD...SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER AND
 NORTHERN NASSAU COUNTIES.
* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY WET SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 6 TO 10 INCHES.
* TEMPERATURES...IN THE MID 30S.
* TIMING...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THIS
 AFTERNOON. SNOW MAY BE LOCALLY HEAVY AT TIMES.
* WINDS...NORTH 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.
* VISIBILITIES...OCCASIONALLY ONE HALF MILE OR LESS.
* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW AND POOR VISIBILITIES WILL LEAD TO
 DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS. THE HEAVY WET SNOW...COMBINED WITH
 GUSTY WINDS COULD LEAD TO A FEW DOWNED TREE BRANCHES AND POWER
 LINES.
