RiverArts 2011 Studio Tour
Sat, April 30, 11-6pm & Sun, May 1, Noon-5pm
Celebrating its 18th year, this map-guided tour offers the public an opportunity to visit Rivertowns artists in the studios where they work. The artists will be on hand where work is shown to answer questions about the process of making art; and art will be available for purchase. There will also be temporary “pop-up” shows and exhibitions in storefront galleries. Altogether over 70 artists, representing diverse styles and a wide range of media will participate.
To navigate the Tour, a comprehensive map can bedownloaded here. Maps will also be included in the brochure available at the Preview Exhibitions (see below) and sponsoring businesses throughout the Rivertowns. The brochure features thumbnail images of artwork along with artists’
names, locations and contact information to help you plan your visits.
